First planted in 1974, these vineyards have shaped a distinctive cool-climate expression of Shiraz that focuses on savoury complexity, spice and finesse. The 2023 release draws from multiple estate sites and clonal material, combining depth with detail. A long, slow ripening season allows the fruit to develop complexity while retaining freshness, giving the wine its characteristic balance. Winemaking is gentle and considered. Wild fermentation, partial whole bunch inclusion and extended maturation in large-format oak build structure and texture without overwhelming the fruit. This is a polished and expressive Shiraz.
