Byrne Farm Glenidle Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023 is the inaugural release from the estate’s Glenidle Vineyard in Nashdale, Orange. Planted at just over 900 metres above sea level, this two-hectare vineyard was carefully established with five Pinot Noir clones to capture complexity, balance and a true expression of the site. The fruit was handpicked, fully destemmed to whole berries, cold soaked and gently fermented before maturing in large-format French oak for nine months. This approach preserves the vineyard’s purity while adding texture and subtle complexity. Bright, elegant and full of energy, this Pinot Noir delivers vibrant fruit, delicate spice and impressive structure. As the first release from Glenidle Vineyard, it offers a compelling introduction to what promises to be an exciting single-vineyard Pinot Noir program.
