Description Rare Clear to Zoned Lavender Stepped Fluorite Cubes with a very unique amazing minor surprise being a tiny mountain range of Dogtooth Calcite in a crevasse in the fluorite. The miniature white mountain range is accented in lavender with deep purple zoning. This is truly a one-of-a-kind specimen from the famous Cave-in-Rock area of Hardin County, Illinois. The Fluorite glows a fluorescent lavender blue under SW, MW, and LW Ultraviolet light. Pictures were taken outdoors in natural sunlight with a Nikon CoolPix L1 camera. Fluorescent photos taken under “Way Too Cool” 254 nm SWUV Lamp in a blackout box. This is another great display piece from a classic location! This specimen weighs 23.16 oz or 1.45 lb (657g) and measures 3.7 x 3.7 x 2.5″ (9.3 x 9.3 x 6.4 cm)
